Keep in mind that in North Carolina we also have the Last Clear Chance
Doctrine which can offset the negative side of Contributory Negligence.

North Carolina is one of the few remaining contributory negligence
states.  I was interested in any arguments in favor of (not opposed to)
contributory negligence that you may have.  If anyone is aware of some
articles defending contributory negligence, I'd be interested in them.
We have had a tough time finding many people defending it.
