My gem of an email story is when a student placed me on her general outlook "joke/info" list. One of the emails promoted some Korean dance club in NYC. Now I am on a spam list for all the latest Korean urban club dance hits in New York that come from the club and not the student. Fortunately the spam comes from once source and is gladly rerouted to my trash folder.
