Don't get me started...

No one answered my question about Senator Kennedy's disingenuous
question about the EEOC. Is it fair to take quotes out of context,
making it seem to say one thing when the exact opposite is true?
As long as I am bashing liberal Senators, (those who know me know I can
bash conservatives also) can someone explain to me why Sen Feinstein
asked (challenged?) Judge Roberts about language in a memo concerning
aid to contras? It was clear to me she was trying to associate him with
the scandal, but he explained to her that the language came from a memo
in which he was expressly advising his client that such aid and
arrangements were illegal? I think the word here is "disingenuous".
Maybe its incompetence. Maybe it is blind zeal to smear someone. Take
your pick.
The fact of the matter is Judge Roberts is highly qualified, as is Ruth
Bader Ginsburg. Get over it.

I am looking for a word that describes Ted Kennedy being on the ethics
committee - any help?

Unfortunately, Dan is correct.

In my view, having Joe Biden and Ted Kennedy evaluate a Supreme Court
nominee's ethical values is neither laughable nor tragic. I don't
buy the argument that Biden's or Kennedy's ethical flaws are
significantly more serious than the ethical flaws of numerous members
of the US Senate or the US government generally, including President
GW Bush.
