I can't comment on which condiments the loose screws will fall, but you
folks really created a Hollywood-like nail-biter.  Amazing that in a nation
of some 270 million people, it comes down to a few thousand votes.

Several have mentioned the importance of people voting, even in the light
of polls.  A completely useless qualitative ponderance on my part is how
many people who DID vote would have done so differently if they knew
yesterday what they know today.  Someday there may be weighting of the
votes, so voters can indicate how strongly committed (or informed?) they
are to their choice.

Politics is too adversarial, and winner-take-all is too simplistic.  Why
don't we just call it a draw, give each guy two years and let them duke it
out in 2004 :-).
