Long time ALSB member John Bonsignore of UMass/Amherst died today.
Maybe not a lot of folks now remember John, but he was quite a force in
the Academy some years ago, an intellectual guru, and an inspiration to
younger members.

We very deeply mourn his passing.

I expect further details will be available soon on the UMass/Amherst web site.
