Thanks to Marsha for the post on Legal Sanity and
storytelling. When I began teaching in 1972, Al Stauber, who's
now at Florida State, told me that the secret of teaching was
possessing a repetoire of "good stories." Years later, as
outgoing president of the ALSB, I made a speech at the annual
banquet titled "I Love a Good Story." Slightly revised the
speech was published in the book by Fred Stephenson,
"Extraordinary Teachers."
