Nothing that's appropriate for a family listserv.

I am looking for a word that describes Ted Kennedy being on the ethics committee - any help?

In my view, having Joe Biden and Ted Kennedy evaluate a Supreme Court
nominee's ethical values is neither laughable nor tragic. I don't
buy the argument that Biden's or Kennedy's ethical flaws are
significantly more serious than the ethical flaws of numerous members
of the US Senate or the US government generally, including President
GW Bush.
