It is ancient history, but I won the Ralph C. Hoeber Ward for Excellence in Research, ABLJ Volume 34 in 1997. In 1996 I won the Holmes-Cardozo Award for Excellence in Research. In 1985 I won the Award for Best Article in Volume 22. I wonder whether this last one occurred prior to the Hoeber gift.

Also, I presume I put these on my resume reciting exactly what the plaque said [plaque may be in the garage up high somewhere, awaiting life's ultimate garage sale], but I do not know for sure what they designated -- first place, runner-up, or runners-up??

David Reitzel's Editor 's Corner from ABLJ Vol 25(3) (Fall 1987) says that the ABLJ Hoeber Award commenced with Vol 25.  The KC program lists the winning authors from 1995 forward.

I'm trying to compile a complete list.  If you won the "Outstanding Article" award for an ABLJ article during these years, could you please let me know.  You may have to look at your vita!
