Hi Sally and everybody,

At last spring's Pacific NW ALSB conference in Portland, Kiren Dosanjh
Zucker, from California State, Northridge, presented some very effective
interactive ethics problems. They involved realistic, thought-provoking
scenarios appropriate for students--academic dishonesty, for instance.

Kiren invited us to use these problems in our classes. I'm sure she has
an electronic copy.

Best regards,

Dan Warner

Subject: Question

I have to run an ethics session for incoming students in our
professional accounting program (they are students entering the second
year of a five year program). This is part of a ? 3 day program in frosh

week. I will have 2-3 hours and either one group of 180 or two of 90.

Any ideas for some effective interactive exercises? Carter racing seems
a little old plus these students probably won't get the full horror of
it as per eg engineers.

Sally
