Richmond (2010) and New Orleans (2011) will be $20-30 a night cheaper.
 
Colorado in the summer is pricey. Place is full of Texans.

Subject: Conference hotel rates



I written to the Executive Committee regarding the hotel rates in Denver . . .
rates that I regard as exorbitant.   Perhaps I'll get an explanation soon.
If you agree that $169/night is overmuch, you might address the Committee
as well, and try to make sure it doesn't happen again.  Maybe the new
officer, Carol or Dan, will take this issue seriously, and I expect Janine
will find affordable rates in Richmond (2010).
