Can I suggest that we tone down the way we talk about others on this
list.  The harshness of some of the rhetoric regarding the Jennings
matter, and now the use of phrases like "book fleas" troubles me.
Perhaps I am overly sensitive, but I think we should make an effort to
display a more generous tone in our communications.  Let's disagree,
debate and ask hard questions, but surely we can do so without such
vitriolic language.
