We have a University Honor System, managed by students, but with faculty parti-
cipation at every level. I was Chair of the Review Board for three years. Stu-
dents and faculty sit on panels that determine guilt or innocence, and can im-
pose sanctions from community service to dismissal from the University. Need-
less to say, the constitution is more detailed, but those are the basics. I
would suggest that a class "trial" would violate the student's right of privacy
under the "Buckley Amendment." Janine Hiller
