I tried to post something a moment ago but I think my computer ate it.
Reading up on some of this Dover stuff, I came across the U. Chicago Law
Faculty Blog, which is pretty
cool,(http://uchicagolaw.typepad.com/faculty/2005/12/the_dover_intel.html)
and it gave me an idea: how about an ALSB Law and Legal Theory Blog? We
could set it up like the U Chicago blog, with multiple offers and different
viewpoints. It could provide some good exposure for the ALSB and our
discipline, and it would give those of us who like these virtual gabfests a
better outlet than the mail list. I'd be happy to set it up and manage it
on the technical side; I could host it on my little consulting company's
server (www.beckecounsulting.com), or, if enough folks are interested, we
could get a Typepad account for $14.95 per month. This could be a really
neat way to keep us all talking about these interesting policy issues,
while also getting more exposure in, and contributing to, the broader legal
community. Any thoughts on this idea?
