I would just like to add something to George's email. This paper is an
excellent example of the combination of survey and anecdotal work. You will see
that George has based his work on a study of certain program participants as
well as some excellent quotes. The kind of empirical work he has here might be
either available now at your universities in some more limited form (I believe
George's study was designed specifically for this project) or might be work
that they are interested in carrying out for other purposes but which you/we
could 'piggy-back' upon. This is what we had in mind to discover -- what
everyone has available. Again, if this tweaks some ideas in your minds, please
