In the 2 NY-metro area institutions where I previously worked (1 public
university, 1 private college -- in the graduate school), the salary was
$1,250 and $1,500, respectively, per class.

I was also (briefly) a director of a legal studies program where we paid
adjuncts $45-$70 per clock hour (which is a bit more, but less than $3,000).
