Dear ALSBTalk Friends,

I am hoping you can help me address the needs of a student here at St.
Thomas. The student is an international student, and has completed all of
her business degree requirements here at UST except for her business law
course. She was intending complete her degree here, but personal
circumstances required her to return to her home country suddenly.

She has been seeking a business law course in her home country that could
be comparable to a typical Legal Environment course here at UST. It has
been difficult for her to find courses on comparable legal subject matter,
and the educational quality of the both courses and institutions in her
home country have been difficult to assess.

I want to recommend that she take an online business law class through a
university in the US, preferably an AACSB accredited program.

If your university offers an online course that might be suitable, or if
you know of a program at another institution, could you please to reply to
me privately at:

If you have other suggestions for solving this dilemma, I would like to
hear them as well.

Thanks!!
