I just got up to speed today on this event.  I hope we won't let one
incident inhibit our communications with each other. There is likely to be
some untoward behavior in almost any human context, no matter what the
group. Anything we say using email by listserv or otherwise has the
potential to be seen by folks who do not understand its context. Knowing
this, and the value of our communications with each other, I intend to keep
using the listserv as I always have.

An aside: "Ad hominems" really have no place here. And we all think Lee is
really, really nice!
