All,

For all of you out there who are puzzled by the references to Don Nelson, you
should know that there is no such person. He is a fiction, a legal fiction as
it were, a type of insider joke, the butt of stress-relieving philosophic
badinage. His sightings are as imaginary as those Elvis or of Ginny's
illusive Ralph.

I am generally only an amused spectator of the ListServ's goings on, but this
one was too good to pass up.
