Hi All:

Do any of you out there in ether land know what the rule is on whether
all-male clubs (or traditionally all-male clubs: Lions, Elks, etc.) can
discriminate against women? If they cannot (except for political reasons
and having a grain of a brain), under what authority can they not?

What about women's gyms or fitness centers. Can they discriminate against
males? If not, again, under what authority (Commerce Clause)?

What was the resolution of the dispute about the Boy Scouts not accepting
atheists or homosexuals?

Students asked me these questions (not really employment related), and I
don't know the answers right off.

Thanks, and have a good Thanksgiving.
