We have a 20 hours, which I believe corresponds to what you call a "half" law course in our MBA program. We decided to teach International Business Law, because we want to stress the international dimension of our program, I teach and designed the course, and I concentrate on topics which also give students a general understanding of Business Law, such as international sales contracts, and I discuss any "non-international" issue, if students raise questions in class.

We have a two credit law, ethics and dispute resolution course in our MBA core that I teach. I designed the course I teach and I do include a global aspect.

We are redesigning our MBA core curriculum and it now looks like law will be assigned to a half course. I would be interested in hearing from other schools that already have a half course in the MBA core. What topics do you cover? Do you also include ethics and comparisons to laws in other countries?
Feel free to respond privately to me at [log in to unmask] or I suspect others on the listserve may find this information interesting.
Thanks.
