     In response to Ernie, I think there is no difference between the JD
     and the PhD in terms of research.  Each researches in his/her own
     discipline.  I am sure a PhD would be lost in a law library or on a
     law data base, just as I would be lost trying to research in most
     domain's of the PhD's.  I think the JD is very much trained in
     research.
