The Society for Business Ethics is holding its meeting at the same
time as ours.  The Business Ethics section has scheduled some joint
activities.  They have also invited our membership to attend the SBE
meetings.  More information on that will be forthcoming.

     Open Breakfast Meeting: All Welcome
 
Redefining the Corporation: An International Colloquy
 
   Saturday, August 10, 1996  8:00am - 9:00 am
   Loews de Concorde Hotel, Quebec, PQ, Canada
             (room to be announced)
 
All interested persons are invited to attend this out-of-program session
which will describe the ongoing activities of the Sloan Foundation project
on "Redefining the Corporation." We will distribute materials generated to
date and provide opportunity for attendees to indicate their interest in
future participation.
 
This project links scholars from many parts of the world who have a serious
interest in the nature of the corporation as as social and political, as
well as economic institution. The primary focus is on the stakeholder
model, but other perspectives are welcome.
 
This open sesion will be led by Professors Tom Donaldson (Georgetown
University), and Max Clarkson (University of Toronto.)
 
A continental breakfast will be provided.
