Hello Colleagues,

I hope your fall semesters are coming along nicely. There are two questions
that all of you may be able to shed some light on:

1)I am performing research that draws from papers analyzing strategic
management and business policy classes. This research might be useful to
our discipline. Is there any literature out there that compares business
policy/strategic management classes to law practice or law courses?
Instictively, I can see a similarity because of the skills used, but was
curious if there was any artciles that discussed or compared the two or at
least viewed them as somehow analogous.

2) Has anyone seen any articles out there that perform an empirical study or
otherwise on what employers what from graduating students? I am sure there
must be some research out there polling employers who state that college
graduates need skills A, B, and C lack skills X, Y, and Z. If there is any
specfic research on business people and their comments on undergraduate's
legal skills, all the better!

Thanks for your assistance in advance! Please feel free to contact me
personally or on the listserv.
