For the filling, cream the butter and shortening. Slowly add the sugars
Combine all ingredients in small bowl and set aside.
4 cups  Flour
Pour milk over slices of bread.  Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and fry in butter in skillet until golden brown.  Make fruit sauce.  Serve warm with sauce.  This is a very old Danish dessert.

Wrap ribs in aluminum foil. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 - 2 1/2 hours.

Whisk in the sugar, a little at a time, then continue whisking until completely blended, about 1 minute more. Pour in the cream and milk and whisk to blend. 3. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze following the manufacturer’s instructions. 4. After the ice cream stiffens (about 2 minutes before it is done), add the chocolate and the cherries, then continue freezing until the ice cream is ready.
