The First in 2009 Coordinating Committee seeks the
help of the GSCA. We are attempting to gather
information from the graduate general body about the
state of graduate education here on Miami's campus.
The questionnaire below is aimed at soliciting vital
information that will better help asses the wants and
needs of the graduate student body. Please send all
responses to:

Graduate Questionnaire

What is the appropriate proportion of graduate
programs at a university
where a liberal arts undergraduate education remains
its primary
mission?

What steps can be taken to elevate the presence of
Miami's graduate
programs and students across the nation?

How can we best utilize the talents of time of
graduate assistants and
teaching associates to improve our intellectual
climate?

What is the role of graduate education in the
scholarly efforts of
Miami?

What steps can be taken to maintain and increase the
diversity of the
graduate student body, and how can Miami take a
leadership role in this
area?
