Good Morning Everyone,
I wanted to send a quick update on events being held. In celebration of
Black History Month at Miami University Dr. Spencer Crew, President of
the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati,Ohio
will be presenting to the community on the topics Freedom Summer 1964
Project and share his views on the contemporary Civil Rights Movement
in the
United States and also discuss the changing dynamics of racism in relation
to ageism, sexism, gender as well as ethnicity. You are invited to attend
this lecture on Monday, February 12 at King Library, Room 320. It begins
at 7:00 p.m. Please, encourage your other students to attend as well.

THE MOST IMPORTANT PART:
If you are interested in attending the trip to the Freedom Center on
February 24th, please RSVP to me by this Friday, Feb 16th, 2007. I need to
inform the center of how many people to expect, and make arrangements for
the transportation.

Have a Safe, Productive, and Blessed rest of the week!
                                        Sincerely,
                                        Ava Rose
