The Hamilton campus is hosting Damali Ayo on Thursday. Damalio's great
aunt created the black Raddedy Ann and Andy doll. Visit her website to
find out what Damalio did with Dolls at age 4 inside her school. Damalio
takes a creative approach to fighting racism, and has held many
demonstrations around the country through an artistic approach. For more
information visit her website at www.damaliayo.com Hamilton has hosted
extraordinary individuals, like Julian Bond, Jane Elliot, etc. Hamilton
does a great job of hosting speakers on multicultural issues, thanks to at
least two men who are passionate about such issues--Mr. Jimmy Jones and Dr.
Robert Rusbosin. As a student who has attend undergrad and grad school at
Miami, I recommend both undergrads and graduate students attend. The event
is Feb. 14th the presentation is at 7:00. If anyone has questions about
event call 513-785-3024--this is the office of multicultural services.
