Hotep all. Thanks to all of you who attended the GSCA's second annual Pan-
African program! You helped to make this year's event even more
successful than the first. I want to give a special thanks to Dr. Sam
Laki, Dr. Gwen Etter-Lewis, and Dr. Abdoulaye Saine for facilitating our
dialogue. In addition, I want to give a special thanks to Muna Osman
(president of ASU), Victoria Walker (president of BSAA), Oliver Mogga, and
Carl Robinson for helping me to coordinate this event. Both our
facilitators and students were insightful and our group dialogue was
dynamic; thus, our efforts yielded many fruits. We definitely want to put
some of the solutions that we generated into practice. Our follow-up
meeting (wherein we will gage where we are, and do more planning, with
respect to some of the solutions that we generated) will be held on Thur.
March 25th, from 7:30pm-9:00pm, at the Center for Black Culture and
Learning. I will give you more details as soon as possible. ...by any
means necessary, Kamau Ashanti (one of GSCA's Executive Members).
