  Description
  The Talbots Women's Scholarship Fund is open to women who are seeking a
degree from an
  accredited four-year college, university or vocational-technical school.
To be considered for
  this award, you must be a woman who has earned a high school diploma or
GED at least 10
  years ago (no later than September of 1991). The award requires you to
submit an essay and
  transcript with the application. Scholarship selection is based on a
number of criteria,
  including financial need, your academic record, scholarship essay,
potential to succeed,
  leadership and participation in community activities, honors, work
experience, a statement of
  educational and career goals and an outside appraisal.Additional

  Description
  The Lesbian Leadership Scholarship is open to lesbian undergraduate and
graduate students
  enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university. You must have a
minimum 3.0 GPA,
  demonstrate a commitment or contribution to the
lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender
  community and have financial need. Your academic performance/honors,
personal/financial
  hardship and service to the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender community
will also be
  considered.Additional Information
  You must include a completed application, an up-to-date school transcript,
a written personal
  statement of fewer than 1,000 words and at least two letters of

  The Jeannette Rankin Foundation grants are awarded to low-income women who

degree. The
  ideal applicant will be a promising student with clear goals and serious
