Thanks to all students who came out to this past Saturday's SPJ
Journalism Job Fair. The event was well attended, with participating
media signing up many of you to get to work.

Applications for media internships and jobs -- along with plenty of
"how to land a job" reference material -- are now available in the NEW
Journalism Program offices, Bachelor 260 (formerly half of the
Havighurst lab). Reminder: Applications for many of the most
sought-after internships are due in November and December. Now is the
time to polish that resume, collect those clips, compile your hit list
and draft your cover letters. The materials collected by your
hard-working SPJ officers will get you started.

Best of luck in the job search....and watch the listserv for news from
Prof. John Lowery on upcoming recruiter visits.
