As you consider opportunities to work in and learn more about
journalism next summer, check out the Summer Fellowship for Young
Journalists offered by the Poynter Institute. The program, running June
4-July 14 in St. Petersburg, Fla., is designed as a "finishing school"
of sorts for new journalism grads looking to boost their reporting and
writing skills as they search for that first post-graduation job.
Applications are due Nov. 15 -- so visit www.poynter.org/summerRW06
today to see if it'd be right for you. To see the work of the Summer
Fellows, visit www.poyntersummerfellows.org.
