Welcome back students! Members of Miami's chapter of the Society of
Professional Journalists hope your summers went well and you are all
adjusting back to the school lifestyle.
To kick off this school year, SPJ has invited Travel Tom Miller to come for
a Q&A on September 8th at 2pm in Bachelor's Reading Room. He will also
conduct a workshop titled "Writing about Your International Study: The Lens
Through Which You Understand Another Culture" from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in 212
MacMillan Hall, hosted by the Howe Writing Center. Miller has written
extensively about Cuba, among other locales.
