Hi Kevin,
  My name is Jacqueline Farinella and I am a sophmore journalism major here
at Miami. I have just declared this major and would love to be involved
with the Society of Professional Journalists. I know that it is the end of
the year but I thought that at least I can aquaint myself with the society
for the short remainder of the school year. Is April 12 the next official
meeting? What can I do to become a member of the society? Is there an
office or leadership position within the society available to me? Also, I
am interested in the convention on the weekend of April 9-10...is there a
group going down for a day? I'm not sure that I can spend the money to stay
the night but I have a car here and would love to go with anyone from Miami
who is interested in going for the day. If you could get back to me as soon
