Hello Journalism Students and welcome back to campus. Some of your fellow students have been busy this semester working on a video project that is of interest to college students like yourselves. With that in mind, I would like to invite you to the following screening next week. Details follow:

On Tuesday December 8, 2009 at 7pm in Williams Hall TV Studio (Room 107) Miami University COM/JRN 314 students will screen and discuss "A State of Transition: Why Ohio and its Grads Need Each Other."

The student produced documentary examines the role highly educated young people can play in helping re-shape Ohio's economic future. Throughout the fall 2009 semester, communication and journalism students traveled across Ohio talking to educators, administrators, employers, historians and students about why Ohio needs to better retain its best and brightest.

"A State of Transition" address both the economic challenges Ohio faces as well as the opportunities and solutions that young college graduates can provide the state.

This event is free and open to the public.

I have attached a promotional flier to this email.
