The Miami chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists will offer
an on-campus journalism job fair on Saturday, Sept. 16. Watch this
space for details -- coming very soon! -- about the event and how to
start or advance your campus media career.

Students considering summer internships should consider attending the
Great Lakes Journalism Fair at Bowling Green on Nov. 10. The BG chapter
of SPJ has pulled together a terrific regional job fair, with (at this
date) 20 newspapers, four magazines and three other media
organizations. Cost is just $10 (plus hotel) with an Oct. 1 deadline
for registration. The following press release provides more info. Visit
www.journalismfair.org for full details.

It's never too early to start getting the critical experience to work
in journalism. These two events will provide easy access to employers
who can give you that experience.

Welcome back to Oxford and best of luck with your classes this semester.
