Sorry to fill up your inbox today, but one important point of clarification. The Kelly Prize, as described below, is not a scholarship but rather a cash prize and as such graduating seniors ARE eligible to apply.

Journalism Students,

A FINAL REMINDER THAT THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS IS THIS FRIDAY (3/30) AT 5PM


Attached please find information and application materials for 2012-13 Journalism Program Scholarships. We encourage all majors to apply and I am happy to answer any related questions. Some key dates:

Friday March 30 5pm-
All completed applications are due to Dr Richard Campbell in Williams Room 201. If Dr. Campbell is not in his office at the time please leave your forms in his mailbox located in Wiliams room 121.

*the scholarship committee will NOT consider late or incomplete applications*

Thursday April 26 4pm-
Scholarship winners will be recognized at our annual Journalism Program Student Ceremony. More details on this event closer to the date.

YOU MUST BE A RETURNING STUDENT (FALL 2012 SEMESTER) TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A 2012-13 SCHOLARSHIP. SENIORS GRADUATING IN MAY 2012 ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE KELLY PRIZE AS IT IS NOW A SCHOLARSHIP.

We have nearly $10,000 to award in scholarships and prizes, so please apply.
