Here are some of the interesting internships, jobs and projects planned by
journalism, public relations and communications students this summer and
fall:

Brittany Watts will work on the public relations staff of the MGM Hotel in
Las Vegas.

Britta Youngren will start the Peace Corps in August. She'll be stationed
in North Africa.

Katherine Seiffert will do an independent study with Professor Laura
Mandell on teaching romantic literature using the Internet.

Seth Clevenger, senior journalism major, has a reporting internship at the
Oxford Press this summer.

Amy Smith, senior Mass Communication major, has accepted a position at
Clear Channel Entertainment's Theatrical Division in New York, New York as
an Assistant to the Public Relations Director.

Sarah Renner, senior journalism and creative writing double major, will
intern as a copy editor at the Cincinnati Enquirer on the features and
news desks.

In the fall, Jacqueline Sprague will intern with Fox 19 Sports in Cincinnati.

Michelle Carey has a summer internship at Cincinnati Business Magazine.
