The Howe Student Writing Center is expanding its consulting staff and will be offering English 481, the consultant preparation course, again this spring (TR 11:15-12:30).  All students from all majors are eligible to apply to be a consultant. Upon successful completion of the course, students are then eligible to work as paid consultants in the center.

Please share this email with students to encourage them to apply, and please recommend students whom you think would be good consultants to Kate Francis ([log in to unmask]).

For students being a consultant offers the opportunity to:
--learn more about writing and effective communication --help and work with writers from across campus --contribute and participate in a very active (and fun) writing center community --hold a professional, well-paid position
