THE WALL STREET JOURNAL.
Interns:
The internship is open to college students (either undergraduate or
graduate school). There is no application form. To apply please send a
cover letter, resume and a dozen of your best bylined clips to:

The Wall Street Journal
200 Liberty Street, 9th Floor

Your clips should be clear, unbound copies on letter- or legal-sized paper
suitable for photocopying. The materials should be received by November
1, which is the application deadline. About 18 student journalists are
selected each year. The selection is highly competitive and most of those
selected have had prior internships with other newspapers as well as
extensive experience on a campus newspaper. The internships are for
ten-week periods in June, July and August. The pay is $700 a week.
The screening process puts heavy emphasis on clips and journalistic
experience. Only the applicants who are selected for final consideration
are interviewed. Each applicant accepted or not, will be notified of our
decision. We try to complete the selection process by the end of February
of each year.
