Hello!

If you are a journalism major or pre-major and you have questions  
about the major or about what courses to take next semester, you may  
want to attend a journalism advising session to be held Wednesday,  
Oct. 14 from 4-5 p.m. in BAC 346. I'm also available to meet with  
students on a drop-in basis on Tuesday afternoons from 1-4 p.m. during  
the month of October.

If you're a pre-major and you're ready to apply for admission to the  
major, you should also complete the attached form and check the box to  
indicate that you intend to take the grammar test, which will be  
offered at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in BAC 346. Please be aware  
that if you apply to the major before you have completed all the pre- 
major requirements, you will not be allowed to take the grammar test  
and your application will be deferred -- so it's best if you wait  
until you've taken those classes.
