Miami's chapter of SPJ is sponsoring a "Cuba Connected" drive to assist in the empowerment of independent journalists in Cuba.
Launched by the Caiman Journalism Training, Inc. in Miami, Fla., the program is in need of new and used:

USB flash drives
external hard drives
digital cameras
digital camcorders
SD cards
SD card readers
voice & audio recorders
blank CDs
MP3 players
netbooks
notebook computers

A collection box has been placed in the JRN office in 260 Bachelor. The drive will run during business hours until April 30.
