Journalism majors:
The Cincinnati chapter of SPJ will sponsor "How Grim Are Job Prospects for
Aspiring Journalists?" on Friday, June 1, at noon. It's a brown-bag lunch
session (i.e., bring your own) at the Enquirer, 312 Elm St., downtown
Cincinnati, 20th floor conference center.
Panelists are Rick Green, assistant managing editor over Metro and Business
at the Enquirer; Mike Phillips, editorial
development director at Scripps Howard; and Ray Marcano, assistant managing
editor at the Dayton
Daily News and the current national SPJ president.
I invite you all to attending this important and timely program. I'll post a
few notes from the gathering shortly after its completion.
