This is a reminder that those interested in being a member of the
National Conventions Project this summer in Los Angeles and Philadelphia
are required to attend a meeting on Wednesday, March 22, 6 p.m. in the
Bachelor Reading Room.
The conventions run for two weeks and you will be placed with
international wire services or U.S. newspapers as working journalists with
credentials. The Republican convention in Philly will be first and the
Democratic convention in LA will follow. Those interested in attending both
conventions will have to block out a four-week period beginning in mid
July. Official dates are on the NCP web site www.muohio.edu/ncp
Cost for rooming is $985 for each two-week convention and includes an
opening night reception with students from The Washington Center. You may
attend one or both conventions.
Emil Dansker, founder and director of the program will be at the
meeting to provide more information. We will take no longer than an hour to
answer questions and give out information.
Again, this meeting is mandatory so we can determine who is serious
about attending. This is a great experience that can do wonders for your
resume. You should probably look at the web site and if you have additional
questions, come to the meeting for answers.

Thanks for your interest in this great, educational program.
