Dear JRN students,
A few of you who are interested in design and graphics might be want to consider this art course this fall. There are 2-3 spots open. I would also consider counting this course toward your creative area if you need me to. Please let me know if you are interested. There is a flyer for the class attached and a description below.

Hand Media Studio // Take inspiration from traditional techniques and learn a unique craft in this introduction to letterpress printing. Engage with antique printing presses using metal, wood type and ornaments to create prints, learning the ins and outs of hand-setting type and explore typographic design concepts. Broaden your understanding of design through the hand craft of letterpress and book binding. Work collaboratively and on individual projects, operating and creating on a Vandercook cylinder and tabletop Pilot platen press. // Preview the letterpress process: http://vimeo.com/22639018
