Congratulations to Mass Com. seniors Neal Carter, Meredith Holbert and Kim
Thomson.

These students submitted their work from last semester's Com/Jrn 314 class
(advanced television reporting) to "The Communicator Awards" 2004 Video
Competition.

The students were recently awarded the Communicator's prestigious "Award
of Excellence" - the highest honor available. 2,937 students applied to
the competition.

The "Communicator Awards" is an international awards competition that
recognizes outstanding work in the communication field. Entries are judged
by industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose
talents exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a
benchmark for the industry.

If interested, I have a copy of the work that the students submitted and
would be happy to share it.

Again congrats to Neal, Kim and Meredith
