All:

Julia Wallace, the new head of Cox Ohio and the exec in charge of advancing
their convergence work, could visit April 6. We could do a lunch or just a
reception kind of thing (coffee & cookies) and open it to students
interested in hearing from her. Wallace, remember, is the immediate past
editor of the Atlanta paper.

Can I get a feel for whether you'd be interested in attending at say 10 or
11 a.m. and/or sending students?

I haven't set up anything w/her yet, but her assistant says that's a good
date.

BTW, working on a visit from Brian Guth, ME at Pal-Item, to recruit for
Gannett. March 23 is looking likely.

to attend any event. But if that is when she will be in town to meet
w/staff, then we'd be happy to have her for at least lunch and to meet the

Hello again, Julia:

I thought I might suggest some possible dates for a visit to campus so you
could check them against your schedule.

Monday and Wednesday tend to be best, as faculty and students are more
lightly scheduled those days.

For the weeks after spring break and before finals week, that would mean our
best dates would be: March 16; March 23, March 28, March 30, April 6, April
11, April 13.

If time allows, I'd suggest lunch with faculty and an informal Q&A with
students (keying on current strategies at CMG Ohio) either just before or
just after the lunch hour.

Hoping we might meet this spring -- one way or another.
