Cheryl,

Here's an invitation for your most ambitious students to enroll in COM
211: Introduction to Electronic Media Production during summer I.

In this class students will learn sound recording and mixing, video camera
operation, lighting for video, post-production techniques and TV studio
operations. A more complete description is posted on the
Communication Department web site. This class is, in my opinion, a must
for the serious broadcast journalism student.

As I understand our current situation, Journalism students may have
trouble registering for COM 211 in the fall. All the details for
cross-listing et al are still to be finalized.

Regards,
Steve
