As you may know, "early bird" tickets for the Oct. 21 Dalai Lama visit went
on sale today. You should NOT stand in the long line at the Shriver Center
box office because that required a line ticket before 9 a.m. today.

Instead, you will need to buy online -- with a credit or debit card. Prepare
to wait a while, by the way; I was in the electronic queue for 45-plus

Tickets are $5 each for members of the Miami community, with a limit of 2.
The price jumps to $25 each after 7 p.m. Sept. 7.
