Journalism students might want to be the first to be in touch with
Miami's new president. Read on:

Miami's new president, David C. Hodge, has invited every student to
write him a letter in October that tells him things he should know in
order to do a good job as president. Perhaps you saw the ad in
yesterday's Miami Student.

The letters President Hodge receives will shape his understanding of
Miami and influence the agenda he sets for the university.

President Hodge has asked that the letters be submitted at
www.muohio.edu/write so they can be displayed online for the entire
Miami community to read.

I hope that you will each write your own letter and also encourage the
members of your organization to do the same.

Sincerely,
Paul Anderson
