For those of you who have written at least 5 stories for us before, I have attached an application to become a beat reporter. We have some positions to fill due to former staff graduating or transferring. Please fill out the application and turn it in to The Student office (17 MacMillan Hall) with a clip attached by Sept. 3 in order to have the best chance of getting your preference of beat. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all beats are filled.

We are especially looking to fill police beat and city council beat within the next week.

We are also looking for reporters interested in becoming part of the political reporting team this fall.
